Salubrious Salutations
My name is Liana Goninon and I am an artist, currently residing and practicing in Newcastle (Muloobinba), Australia.
I work across painting, watercolour, drawing (digital and traditional), sound, multimedia and performance; creating art for a time of great change.
My paintings are carefully crafted using my own handmade solvent-free oil paint and are embedded with layers of prayer and magic.
The purpose of my work is to act as a catalyst for turning the inner eye. Ultimately, my aim is to increase consciousness and our understanding of it by collaborating with the ‘otherness’ that exists within all of us; the process of integration.
In turning the inner eye and working with the unconscious, I believe the greatest and most necessary changes that humanity needs to make can be effected quickly and in a way that is also deeply healing and nourishing.
